What a week it has been, and I am blessed to now serve as pastor of Fellowship of Montgomery.  So many of you have e-mailed, called, or stopped by the offices to offer your encouragement and a helping hand.  I know that many of you have been praying for us, our transition, and our future at Fellowship of Montgomery and in the community of Montgomery as well.  Thank you, and I would ask that you continue to pray.  At this point I must also let you know how much I have appreciated Brandon and Dawn in the church offices.  We have planned, prayed, and laughed together, and I am excited about our future.

 

I am frequently asked questions about my family and the years of ministry we enjoyed in Conroe.  If you have a few minutes and would like to get to know us a little better while you are seated at your computer, click here.  This link will take you to a blog I update occasionally.  I promise you will not have to watch any old home movies of our vacations (well, maybe one or two photos).

 

This Sunday, I hope you will be able to join us in worship at 10:45 a.m.  I will begin a series on "New Beginnings."  I know that we have had many individuals and families impacted by the flu and other sicknesses.  All three of our children have missed school and activities this week.  Please be careful and prayerful in the days ahead.

 

Before I close, let me encourage you to invite someone to church with you.  Most of us have at least one person or family in mind that have been on our hearts.  They are there for a reason.  God put them on your heart because He wants to stretch your faith and use you in His kingdom work.  Never discount the effectiveness of a simple invitation by a trusted friend...you.
