Greetings!
If you subscribe to this newsletter, then you know that Habitat STW is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers, donations and partnerships to succeed in building affordable houses with partner families. But, what you may not know is about the many grants Habitat relies upon to complement these efforts. Right now, we could really use your help to meet some tight deadlines. Please sign up to volunteer during the week in August! Volunteers who have worked along side a partner family know the joy they're bringing to Habitat's newest homeowners: the Brown, Chisley, Jerome and Noble families! See photos from their dedication ceremonies. Habitat AmeriCorps members have finished their term with us, so we put together a video thanking them for their service. We're also saying goodbye to Hannah and Ted from the construction team, as they venture out in new directions. Please drop them a note on our Facebook page to help show your appreciation and wish them a farewell. This month, we have 17 partner families working on their sweat equity and seven looking forward to buying their homes by the end of the year. On August 3, we will hold an informational meeting for anyone interested in applying for a Habitat home. If you can't attend, please visit our website to learn more about qualifying for application.
