Styling 101 Class
When: Sunday, September 9th from 7 PM - 8:30 PM
What: Numerous studies have shown that grooming and wardrobe matter when it comes to landing a job, retaining a job, and earning a higher pay. We are excited to announce that we are offering our very first Styling 101 Class. In this class, we will cover home hair styling tips, appropriate make-up application, how to accessorize your wardrobe, and finding your correct color palate.

The Art of Teen Driving
The Art of Driving is an educational awareness program for teen drivers and their parents. The program was founded by Robin Thompson in memory of her daughter, Ashley Renee. Ashley lost her life in a single vehicle crash on June 10, 2003, at the age of sixteen.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, motor vehicle accidents are the leading cause of death for the age group 15 to 20 year olds. Every year approximately 6,000 teens die on our nation's highways and another 300,000 suffer severe injuries and lifelong disabilities. The National Safety Council sees the issue as a national health crisis, so should every teen and parent.
We have partnered with The Art of Driving for the month of September to help bring awareness to teen dirving safety, particularly now that school is back and more teens will be on the road. Please visit their website to learn how you can have your teen take The Art of Driving Pledge, start a Teen Task Force, or to have Robin speak at your school or youth group.
We will also have a raffle at the salon to help raise funds for The Art of Driving. Raffle tickets will be $1 each and prizes include a haircut and blowdry, a conditioning treatment and blow dry, and a make-up application.
