Our Mission and Vision
It took us seven years, but we have finally penned our Mission and Vision statements and are excited to share them with you. Jonathan and I have always talked about putting it down on paper, so here it is:
Mission:
Our mission is to be Northern Virginia's premier salon where every client is greeted warmly, treated respectfully, and made to look and feel their absolute best.
Vision:
It is our vision to be a salon where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Our goal is that every client receives an outstanding service from the time they walk in, to the time they walk out. We want our clients to love us so much that they would refer us their friends, their family, and even complete strangers who approach them at the grocery store. We aim to create Salon Khouri enthusiasts.
We wish to create a perfect experience through hospitality, professionalism, and highly technical, talented stylists.
We will hire staff who are passionate about their craft. We are a teaching salon that fosters and trains the next generation of excellent hairstylists.
We promise to promote personal and professional growth of our team.
We wish to perpetuate happiness amongst our clients and staff. When one feels good about themselves, it creates a general sense of wellbeing and happiness, which is contagious.
We want to inspire through giving back and serving our community and our planet.
Honesty is our ethos and we promise to put our clients first. We will never recommend a service or sell you a product you do not need. We are committed to high standards - not just in the services we provide to you, but in the products we carry, and how we conduct ourselves as a business.

- Tuesday, May 8th, we are celebrating teachers with 10% off all services for teachers!
- The week of May 6th - 12th, send mom in for a haircut and we will give her a complimentary Urgent Repair conditioning treatment. It's our way of saying "Thank you!" to all mommas out there. It's the toughest, yet most rewarding job in the world!
- Through May 31st, purchase a gift card totaling $75 or more and receive a gift certificate for a conditioning treatment (valued at $35).
- And for all our lovely ladies going to prom, we are offering 15% off your prom updo and 10% off our newly launched make-up services.

It's a Wrap!
Our April photo shoot was a blast! Salon Khouri stylists worked with Washington DC photographer, Jonathan Thorpe, on a gorgeous April day and shot six models over the course of the entire day (and night)! Our theme was modern romantic and we are so happy with the results! Please be sure to check our Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter pages in the next few weeks to see more photos from the shoot!

Has the word perm always made you shutter, with thoughts of 80s tight curl and frizz? We are so happy to announce that we are now offering the air wave perm. It's a technique very popular in Japan. Community
During the month of June, Salon Khouri will donate $1 from every haircut to Fairfax-based nonprofit, Our Daily Bread. With food delivery programs to free financial literacy workshops, Our Daily Bread provides aide to over 200 Fairfax residents.

Staff Updates @ Salon Khouri
Tessa is currently out on maternity leave. Her baby is due mid May and we cannot wait to meet her little one!
Some of you may have noticed a familiar face back at the salon! We are so happy to have Brooke Tucker back as an assistant to Jonathan.
And speaking of familiar faces, Shelby Hersey will be back for the summer as shampoo tech. Shelby has been working for us for the past two summers during break.
And, for those of you craving more Heather-time, your wishes have been granted. Heather will be adding Saturday hours beginning Saturday, May 19th.
