5th Annual Cut-A-Thon to "cut out" Neuroblastoma
We can't believe it's been five years already, but we will be having our 5th Annual Cut-a-Thon to "cut out" neuroblastoma on Sunday, October 16th to honor Ashburn cancer warrior, Taylor Love. Taylor turned six this year, and just started the first grade. We are hoping to make this year's cut-a-thon our biggest yet! We will have a ton of exciting activities for the kids, including a moon bounce, face painting by Maria Ferkova, as well as a performance by long-time Taylor Love supporter, Abby Miller. Haircuts will be $25 by donation (or as much as you feel you can give). All proceeds will go to the Band of Parents Foundation. Please call 703.273.7878 or email us to make your appointment. Online booking will not be available for cut-a-thon appointments.
4th Annual Pink Hair For Hope
We will be having our 4th annual Pink Hair for Hope event this October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For just $10, you can have a strand of pink hair added to your tresses to raise money for breast cancer research.
5th Annual Food Drive
Our annual food drive will be held this year from October 1st through November 19th. Bring any non-perishable, non-expired food item and receive $1 off any service for each food item up to $5 per visit.

Fall Hair Trends!
Once again, a battle heats up between the blondes and the red heads! Who will win as fall's fashion leader? It's hard to tell as both shades are stunning.
The soft platinum blonde is playful and innocent, yet can be vamped up for edgy looks as well.
And who can resist the red headed bombshells? Just the right shade of red is certain to turn heads!
The good news is both shades go beautifully with the "it" colors for fall 2011: bamboo, deep teal, and em berglow.
Would you like to try platinum or red this fall? Make an appointment for a complimentary consultation with your stylist to find out which shade is best suited for you! |

Sadly, Rebecca Garcia will be moving to Maryland and a new salon. Her last day is Saturday, September 17th. Rebecca has been with us since the beginning. We've seen her grow as a stylist into an amazing artist, and we are happy for her as she enters this next chapter in her life.

Our Pedicure Chair Has a New Home
Remember our pedicure chair of all pedicure chairs, the Murano Pedicure Spa? We loved that chair so! It has pipeless technology which means when the water is drained from the chair, it leaves the chair -- there is no water from the previous client left anywhere. This means an ultra clean pedicure experience. Well, the chair is now in a new home at The Polish Cafe in Stone Ridge, VA. Lisa Jones opened a boutique nail studio from her home in July of 2011. Lisa owned her own nail studio in Georgia, and after relocating to Virgina, worked for some time at the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner. We urge you to give Lisa a try. Her website is coming soon, but for now, you can contact Lisa via email. |
