HAPPY NEW YEAR! Join Salon Khouri as we celebrate the New Year and look forward to the new decade. You will notice as you read this Snippet that we are offering many promotions with the number ten, whether percent or dollars, over the next few months.

Don't be surprised if you spot a tutu or two during the end of January around Salon Khouri. We're celebrating! In early December, the group that includes our good friend, Michael Sheppard, was nominated for a Grammy award!!! That's right, a Grammy!! Their album, Great Day was nominated as "Best Musical Album for Children." And that's not all, the Washington Area Music Awards (WAMA) committee also nominated Milkshake for two categories: Children's music artist (solo/duo/group) and Children's music recording.
The Baltimore-based group will travel to Los Angeles for the Grammy Award festivities, accompanied by Salon Khouri stylist Heidi Wheeler, who will be doing hair and makeup for the band for the big night! Whether you have children or are a child at heart, check out this wonderful and entertaining group at www.milkshakemusic.com. We promise you won't be able to stand still a minute!
