Yes, the end to beloved summer is almost here.  But what greatness fall brings - cooler weather, crisp air, the changing leaves, pumpkin patches.  So, with just about a month left of the warm weather, and just a few weeks left until school starts, we hope you find the time to enjoy summer!

Fall Jewelry Show
 
Saturday, September 20th, be sure to come by Salon Khouri between 10 and 3 to browse a huge collection of jewelry.  We will have many items for you to choose from - our jewelry makes for great gifts -- for friends and family, or yourself!  Clients have been asking us when we were having another show, so here it is!  There will be pieces for everyone - priced from $15 and up.  So be sure to mark your calendar!  See you there!!

 
recycleRecycling Program
We know  - we know.  We mentioned this in our last newsletter.  But, we've had so many people ask and others who weren't aware of this great new program, that we thought we would 'reuse and recycle' the story.  We are pleased to announce a new recycling program at Salon Khouri. For each empty, recyclable product bottle you bring back to the salon that you purchased from the salon, you receive $1 off the purchase of a new product.  It's our way of saying thanks!  We've had a few questions about this and the most commonly asked question is, "can I bring back three bottles and receive $3 off a single product purchase?"  The answer, unfortunately, is no.  It's a one-to-one exchange :-)
 
Cut-A-Thon: Help End Neuroblastoma
Last year we were blessed to raise over $2,600 to fight neuroblastoma, a pediatric cancer affecting many little angels who should never have to know the word cancer.  We can't thank you enough for your support!  This year, our efforts will support the Band of Parents, a non-profit assembled by parents of children suffering from neuroblastoma.  We haven't set a firm date yet, but it will be this fall and we will send out an email blast as soon as we have a date set.  For those of you who are curious about Taylor Love, our little three year old local hero whose courage and spirit inspire us all, we invite you to sign up to receive updates on her via her Care Page at www.carepages.com.  You need to first register -- registration is free -- then you can search for the Care Page for "Taylor Love".
