Flinders University's Groundwater Centre is a Global Leader  

Austrade and Future Unlimited 

Flinders University's National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training is a world leader in its field.The NCGRT's International Scientific Advisory Committee, which comprises members from France, Canada and the US, said that since its inception in 2009 the centre had put Australia on the international map. The NCGRT has five research programs.

The University of Sydney launched the "What Matters" community engagement campaign on 2 April. The aim of this program is to bring together people from across the university's spectrum to talk about how their work has made a difference. Members of the public are invited to participate.

ANZAC Day, 25 April 2012

 

The Australian Embassy will observe ANZAC Day on 25 April 2012. ANZAC Day 2012 commemorates the landing of Australian and New Zealand troops at Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. As part of the Embassy's 2012 ANZAC Day commemorations the Embassy Gallery is scheduled to exhibit, "ANZUS in Action: Australia's Mission in Afghanistan". More on ANZAC Day here.

The Australian Embassy will participate in Washington DC's "Embassy Open House Day" from from 10 am until 4 pm. For more details see the schedule.
