Allie Schmidt, Middle Tennessee State University Studied abroad at the University of the Sunshine Coast
"Studying in Australia has not only left me with lifelong friends and new perspectives, but employers take a huge interest in it as well. In interviews, I have been asked, "How many kangaroos did you see?" to the more relevant, "How did this experience change you as a person?" Studying in Australia gives me an advantage because not only is the employer interested in what I have to say, but they also learn that I am self-driven and independent."
