Inside Australia

TEQSA now in effect

The Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) was established on July 1. This new agency will regulate the Australian tertiary education system and oversee education regulation and quality assurance at a federal level instead of a state level.

Visa Fee Update

The fee for Australian Student Visas is now USD$625, which reflects the strong Australian dollar. Visas fees are reviewed in January and July each year. For more information about student visas, visit the Department of Immigration website or call the Information Serivce for Australian Visas at +1 (905) 280 1437.
