Student Profile

Karen Wong

Karen Wong, University of California Irvine
Studied Abroad at the University of Queensland
"I experienced personal encounters with sharks, stingrays, jellies, octopi, turtles, and fish in the Great Barrier Reef, met kangaroos, koalas, crocs, Tasmanian devils, echidnas, and wombats at the Australia Zoo, got up-close with wild dingoes on Fraser Island, dug up dinosaur bones in the outback, and best of all, hung out with some of the most awesome mates! And all this happened during field trips for which I earned academic credit."
