Seasons Greetings to Everyone!
At year's end, I'm reflecting on all the different people and organisations that have contributed to make ArtLinks grow and thereby help so many working and promoting the Arts in the South East. Thank you to all involved in delivering the ArtLinks programme and also to the increasing numbers of members who actively help and promote ArtLinks too. Many of you have realised the membership of the programme has grown significantly while the resources in some areas have been reduced.
Next year will continue to be very challenging time for the Arts but the links in the ArtLinks community keep getting stronger with everyone's involvement. In these difficult times I believe the network that ArtLinks has become, with over 1340+ members, will be even more valued in 2010.
ArtLinks will be announcing a new programme early in 2010 and it will be coloured by existing and many new partnerships we are building with other National Arts Organisations, Arts professionals, ArtLinks Members and the media.
Yesterday I also found out that the ArtLinks.ie website has been short-listed for the second year running for the 2010 eGovt awards! On the ArtLinks.ie Calendar there is a variety of Christmas and New Year events and there is a growing number of courses listed by members for 2010 already.
Thank you again for your interest in the programme and I and the five partner ArtLinks County Arts Office staff look forward to working with you in 2010!
