This holiday season, a lot of children will go without. Some of these will be children whose parent is in prison. You can give a happy holiday to a child impacted by incarceration.
This holiday season, a lot of children will go without. Some of these will be children whose mom is in prison. Redeem-Her is a non-profit collective of women who have been in prison. Many of us are mothers, and we have lived with the heartache of the hurt we have caused our own children. There is no way to make up for the past, but it is possible for us to impact the children who are suffering now.
The Children of Promise project provides holiday gifts to children being impacted by incarceration today. When you sponsor a child, you will receive the child's name, age, gender, photo and a statement of their circumstances with a wish list. Purchase a gift for your child, leave it unwrapped, and drop it off in Point Pleasant Beach, Trenton or Montclair before December 10. Those of you who wish to help but are out of the area are welcome to send a financial contribution. We will have a volunteer shopper purchase a gift on your behalf.
Please email childrenofpromise@redeem-her.org or call (732) 597-8636 to sponsor your child today. We are a federal tax-exempt organization and your donations are 100% tax deductible.
Thank you for partnering with us in this very important project.
