Congratulations are in order for Redeem-Her member, Ivonne Robinson, who received her high school diploma!
Ivonne, who was released from prison April 22nd of this year, resides in a Redeem-Her transitional home. Redeem-Her paid for her to enroll in Continental Academy, an accredited online high school diploma program.
A 33 year old mother of three sons, Ivonne completed four years of high school coursework in 3 months! She is hoping to get her financial aid together in time to enroll in college in January.
We are having a graduation party to celebrate Ivonne's accomplishment on Saturday, November 8th at 5pm at the Point Pleasant Beach house. You don't have to know Ivonne to come and celebrate her success! Call and let us know that you'll be coming and bring some food to share. We'll be eating and socializing from 5 - 6:30 pm and then the dance music will come on for the "after party" starting at 6:30pm. We promise to keep your parole officer happy by having you home and in bed by 8 pm. :) We'd like to celebrate Ivonne's hard work by making her the queen for the day, so if you know a local (Ocean/Monmouth county) massage therapist, hair stylist, or manicurist that would be willing to donate their services to her on that day in preparation for the party please let us know. Or if you have some other idea that we haven't thought of, drop us a line!
If you would like to drop Ivonne a line of congrats or encouragement, email her at robinson.ivonne@gmail.com, or by mail to: Ivonne Robinson 345 River Ave Point Pleasant Beach, NJ 08742 |
