Christmas Day 2007
Santa is alive and well ... in you!
Because of you, 141 children touched by incarceration had plenty of presents under the tree this morning.
Greetings!

As you enjoy your holiday festivities today, we want to sincerely say, "thank you!"  Because of your generosity, 141 children whose lives have been touched by incarceration are celebrating today in a much bigger way. Without your care and concern, we, the women of Redeem-Her, would not have had the resources to help. And it is helping that is healing us.

Sincerely,

photo 7A very special thank you to the students, parents, teachers, and staff of Manasquan High School. Your toy drive brought carloads full of new toys and games that we were able to use to "fatten Santa's sack" for every single child. You singlehandedly made this year's Children of Promise program BETTER THAN EVER!

And to our staunch supporters at the Spring Lake - Brielle Rotary Club, who know that sometimes we just need cold, hard cash. Your $1000.00 donation pulled everything together. You allowed mothers incarcerated in New Jersey whose children live out of state to participate for the first time as we had the necessary funds to ship the gifts to the children. Not having to say no photo 8to these moms meant more to us than you will probably ever understand. Together you bought gift wrap, ribbons and miles of Scotch tape. You filled in the blanks for hard-to-buy-for teenagers with Walmart gift cards. You pitched in for those certain kids who just had to have that one, most special present that was just a little out of our price range. And you provided Shop-Rite gift cards for some hard-working, weary caregivers who do what they do every day without recognition or reward. We couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you, everyone, and Merry Christmas!
