The Redeem-Her Freedom Party was a hit, and it wasn't because of the table settings, center pieces, decorations, name tags, music or dry eyes (there weren't any of these). It was because we finally had the the opportunity to honor the women of Redeem-Her as the true "s-heroes" they have become. It was also a chance to recognize all of the volunteers and contributors who have graciously and faithfully come alongside. Here's some comments about the party that have come in:

"I think it was THE nicest party I have ever been to. It was so upbeat. All of your friends are friendly and warm. No one put on airs, just genuine people. It was refreshing. We look forward to working with you in the future."
 "The Freedom celebration was wonderful! I was overwhelmed by the incredible volunteers I was able to chat with! It was a blessing and humbling for me to hear the success stories and struggles from the women of Redeem-Her... they are truly sheroes! I am blessed to be a part of God's work through Redeem-Her!"
"What a great event! I particularly liked the warmth of the presentations to the women."
And, a comment from one of the beautiful women of Redeem-Her:
 "Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You don't know how great that was to hear about what you had to say. No one really says great job, good for you, and so on. I always feel so stuck, like I am not doing anything, like I should be doing more. And that part of what you said about me, that people look at me and think that no matter what dark clouds come my way, I just push through them, and there are sunny skies ... that is all you."
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing as we do that people are redeemable, and worthy of being celebrated when they work hard at turning their lives around.
