Greetings! 

Last week at the Thanksgiving Meal for LGBT Seniors I asked the group to take a moment and write down something they were each thankful for this year.
 
The list was touching and often funny. You will see some of the responses below because we couldn't think of a better way to wish you a happy Thanksgiving.
 
Where ever your journey takes you this Thursday we hope that you can also take a moment to stop and celebrate the blessings in your life.

Writings from the Thanksgiving Meal for LGBT Seniors November 20, 2008
 
-Gay marriage, great friends, good health
-Being here and all the blessings that are coming my way
-For the time I have left to live
-Obama's election...New-found hope for the USA
-Life, Liberty and the demise of my 401K
-Meeting and connecting with like minded seniors. It's been a blast
-Bush is leaving!
-Good friends, trees, animals, music, Stephen Colbert,  Obama's Victory
-Friendship, family and medication
-Someone new in my life
-Good times, good food, good health
-Sharing this food and friendship with other gay people.
-The life I share with my partner
-Café Emmanuel and my devoted cat "Charlie"
-Another day, my gay family, this gathering and the LGBT   Aging Project
-Friends, family, my dog, meeting new people
-Love in the world
-Living in a civilized part of the USA
-Figaro and Café Emmanuel
-My health, my mobility and all the good people in my life
-Good coffee, good sex and good friends
-Being alive!
-Life, love, great friends, Ethos, Bush is almost gone!
-Being able to get married, for my spouse of 45 years and Thank God the democrats won.
