The Arc of Butte County

February 2010
Greetings!

What are you suppose to do with that old computer collecting dust in the garage or that funky VCR tucked in the back of the closet? You know they have toxic chemicals that must be disposed of properly or you risk polluting our soil and ground water but exactly how do you dispose of it all??

Well, you bring it to the Arc!

You'll be happy to know that the Arc in cooperation with WTP will be hosting a "E-Waste Recycling Drop Off" Day Saturday Feb 20th from 9am to 1pm.

"Basically, we'll accept anything with a plug." Assures Brenda Easter, Arc Thrift Store manager.

Bring all your obsolete electronics and we'll dispose of it all in accordance with State Regulations. We'll take your CRT's (TV's, monitors, laptops), all universal waste like radios, VCR's, keyboards, cell phones and more will be accepted.

We will be accepting E-Waste at both our ARC Stores!

Saturday, Feb 20th, 9am-1pm

- Chico ARC Store @ 2020 Park Avenue (343.3666)
- Oroville ARC Store @ 2745 Oro Dam Blvd (532.1272)
