Apples, Apples, Apples in Paradise
"The Rainbow of Kids Club" and the "Older Kids Club" went on a field trip to Noble Orchards in Paradise in January. "Our group arrived on a foggy morning," says Rene Tousant, Family Support Coordinator, "and were eager to sample the different varieties of apples. The children experienced texture, taste, and smell. We were offered Pink Lady, Golden Delicious, Fuji, just to name a few. We explored the fruit stand, the scales and equipment used to sale the delicious goodies." Noble Orchards has been producing apples since the early 1920s and is
still family owned and operated. The ROKC and OKC have adventures every Saturday. If you have questions, please, contact Rene. |

ARC's Independent Living Skills program provides a diverse range of skill training and services that
focus on the individual's personal and social needs. The training
enables individuals to acquire, maintain and improve their existing
abilities to live independently in the community. "Our ILS Staff instruct and foster client independence," says Patti Thomas, ILS Coordinator, "They focus on achieving individual client's goals such as; problem solving, money management, health and safety, nutrition, meal planning and budgeting to name a few. I want to thank all them for their hard work" If you have questions regarding the ARC's ILS program, please, contact Patti (seen above with the ILS Staff) in the Chico office.
