ILP's "Mr Search and Rescue"

David Smallhouse with CharlieEric Tennison
"Mr. Search and Rescue"
Instructor of the Month

Sometimes we have consumers who just seem to disappear.  They just slip away.  We don't always know why and we don't know where.  Eric will take the slimmest lead or smallest clue and tenatiously pursue it until he finds the missing person.

"Eric has scoured Oroville's homeless camps, traced old addresses, family, friends and acquaintances to find these "missing" people," shares Ray Fennell, ILP Coordinator,"and does whatever is necessary to get them back into a safe and stable living situation."

Eric doesn't have blood hounds and helicopters but he has a strong commitment to our consumers and the tenacity and perseverance to  perform his own special kind of "search and rescue".

Butte College Visits Family Support

David Smallhouse with Charlie

Butte College Child Development students spent a day with the Rainbow of Kids Club. They explored many activities with the children such as ribbon dancing, crafts, costume play and tactile games. The children had a great time and the Butte College students gain valuable real world experience.

Alfred Brings His Ponies to ADP

David Smallhouse with Charlie

The Adult Day Program clients get excited whenever Alfred Morales brings his ponies for a visit. Everyone gets a chance to spend time with the beautiful animals.

David (picture to the left) and all the ADP clients really enjoyed petting the small ponies.
