Music & Poetry ~ Alice Joy Rabut

Freddy Mercury
It's you I reach for
When you touched
My hand you pass right
through me and hear
your voice in my head
Hold me in your arms
I place my faith in your hands
Your angels wings are
soft and gentle
~ by Alice Joy Rabut

Alice Joy Rabut is a Butte College student who attends both Arc's Social Recreation Program and Caminar's Access Plus Program. She lives with her parents and siblings.

She is a real music buff and feels a spiritual connection to Queen's lead singing Freddy Mercury. "I am deeply moved by his love songs, " explains Alice with a sweet smile, "If I ever met him I would tell him he was a handsome and gifted man. He was born to be a singer. When I am down his music fills the empty spaces of my heart."
