 RecTherapy clients & Instructors had a tasty time making tacos in the Arc's Park Tower Pavilion kitchen in their last cooking class.
Working together to learn new recipes plus cooking and social skills makes for a wonderful class experience.

The Arc Emporium Ribbon Cutting 4/17th
All are invited to join the Arc in celebration of our new Oroville Facility "The Arc Emporium" at the Ribbon Cutting
Thursday April 17th,
5:30-7pm.
Located at 2745 Oro Dam Blvd, the 10,000 sq. ft. site houses Arc Programs for local developmentally disabled clients, a large thrift/antique store and the "ARCoffee Connection".
"There is a great need in the Oroville area for our services." explains Michael McGinnis, Arc Executive Director, "The new satellite office will offer a wide variety of services just as we have had in Chico for over 50 years. We are pleased that the new facility is finally a reality."
There will be food, wine and coffee from the "ARCoffee Connection" cafe. Come enjoy the celebration!
Proceeds from these retail endeavors stay local and help fund the Arc Programs.

ADP clients and instructors dawned their best outfits
and danced the afternoon away at the Adult Day Programs
'Fun Friday' Dance in the Arc's Park Tower Pavilion.
A great time was had by all!

"We are happy to announce that one of our ILP families is expecting a new addition!" smiles Bonnie Bethel, ILP Coordinator.
Blooming mother is Suzette Serrano, proud father Joe
Gardner and handsome 2 year old brother Izic Serrano are waiting with open arms for the little girl Kyla due to enter this world in July. Suzette and Izic attend and participate at Arc's ILP monthly Baby Thyme.
Last year Joe and Suzette won an award for Positive Parenting at the annual Recognition dinner. We at ARC are very proud of them.

3rd Street Gallery 'Art & Wine' ~ 4/18th
All are welcome to the Arc's 3rd Street Gallery's first monthly Wine Tasting April 18th @ 5-8pm. Come enjoy music, food, fine wine (of course) and unique art by local artists.
"This is a great chance for everyone to relax and enjoy some fine wine from a local vineyard," says Charlie Williams, 3rd Street Gallery manager, "We're very pleased that this month's featured vineyard is Indian Peak Vineyards."
Indian Peak Vineyards is a small family owned and operated winery in the little town of Manton California. Their goal is to produce the very best quality wine possible from our unique location. The Arc's 3rd Street Gallery is full of beautiful antiques, vintage pieces, fine furniture & unique local art. Featured artists: Dave Smallhouse, Paul Crosby, Dean Carrier & Orene Owens. All proceeds from the 3rd Street Gallery stay local and benefit the Family Support Programs of The Arc of Butte County.
