When you make a donation to The Arc of Butte County through the Annie B's Community Drive, we can take advantage of an incredible grant program from North Valley Community Foundation.

NVCF has committed to granting $100,000 each year to local nonprofits. In order to receive a portion of these funds The Arc needs to raise money from August 15 through October 11. One hundred percent of the monies raised for The Arc through Annie B's Community Drive will go to further our services for the developmentally disabled. After October 11, NVCF will tally the total amount raised by all participating nonprofits and determine the percentage grant amounts. For example, if the nonprofits collectively raise $100,000, then the percentage of the grant will be 100 percent or $1 for $1.

There is a critical need to expand The Arc's Family Support Programs. Day to day life, with its frequent demands can be stressful for each of us. However, these everyday stresses greatly increase when a family is faced with the demands and extraordinary challenges of parenting an individual with special needs. Our Family Support Programs offer a variety of efforts designed to strengthen and foster healthy families.

Since 1953, The Arc has been devoted to the establishment of high quality community-based services for local people with developmental disabilities and their families in Butte, Glenn and Tehama Counties.

Donations must be received by NVCF between August 15 and October 11 to be eligible for the grant program.
