Greetings!

I hope everyone had a happy and safe Fourth of July.  After the weeks of recent weather events, we have all the more reasons to realize we live in a very special town with a great

Public Works Department and Village personnel that work long hours to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.

Now it is my pleasure to welcome Dawn Fletcher Collins as the Executive Director of the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce.  Dawn is a longtime resident of Mount Prospect, former Mount Prospect business owner and most recently, a twelve year employee of MP School District #57. Dawn has served the

Chamber in many ways over the years, seated on the Board of Directors and has contributed to the success of the Block Party since inception.  She brings a wealth of knowledge to the Chamber and we are excited for her to be here.

I would like to recognize the Village of Mount Prospect and the Downtown Merchants for their collaboration with the Chamber and bringing the Friday Concerts on the Green to the community.

The first outing on June 24 was very well-attended . Next date to be there is July 29, 6pm on the Green!

With summer and the kids at home, this might be a good opportunity to for a computer check-up. Mine is running a lot better thanks to Byte Me Computer.  Did you know that they recently expanded their space at 718 E. Northwest Highway?  Congratulations to Tom and Bert!

Thanks to Edible Arrangements for hosting the June After Hours Mixer, it was an excellent evening showcasing their special arrangements with great food and company.

We invite all Chamber members to come out this Thursday to the July 14th After Hours Mixer at The Plant Manager, located at 9 South Elm Street in Mount Prospect.  Celebrate Bastille Day in this beautiful garden!
