It's time to get your running shoes out of the closet and start preparing for the 3rd Annual 5K Run/Walk

Corporate Challenge on Thursday, August 4. This Event takes place in the Kensington Business Center.

Over the past weeks, I have noticed an amazing number of upcoming events for the various Not-for Profit Organizations in the area. These organizations offer businesses of all sizes the opportunity to network and to get invoived. Check out the NFP's and Service Organizations through the Chamber website. See how you can help in many ways in light of today's economic conditions.

They need our support more than ever!

We would like to thank Mount Prospect Child Care Center for hosting the After Hours this past month and we recently welcomed PNC Bank to the community with a Ribbon Tie Ceremony.

All businesses are invited to come out to our upcoming After Hours:

Last, but certainly not least, I am personally looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday, May 11 at the Rob Roy Golf Course. The Spring Golf Outing is a great way to get involved by getting a foursome together, by being a sponsor or to come out for lunch, which will be approximately 2:30 pm. It is guaranteed to be a fun time and a great opportunity for networking.

Prospect High School seniors, entrepreneurs Craig Morelli and Zach Lewis of Performance Solutions present easy steps to set up and/or maintain your Facebook page to be a successful

social media marketing tool. This is critical in 2011. Also,
