Dear Partners and Friends:
Time, Time, Time... I cannot believe that it is April already. Where did March go? This newsletter is getting out just in the nick of time - I have been running and running all over the place. This month, I have been in Los Angeles for a wonderful brainstorming/coaching conference; to Las Vegas (preparing for an upcoming April event there); creating beautiful weddings and corporate events for International clients, and before I know it - voila - it is gone! We are so busy trying to execute current business, find new business, and be excellent in what we do that it can almost be too much. There must be a bit of balance somewhere. We need to take a little time to recharge. Take a moment or two to refresh and renew. To change directions, check priorities, to improve ourselves, and reflect. After working so hard constantly, we owe it to ourselves (and our clients) to let the brain rest and the creative juices flow freely again. Downtime is that cure. Take time to walk in a garden, kiss your child, eat a quiet dinner at home, swim in the ocean (if you live in Florida!)...just let go momentarily. After we have done this, I can almost guarantee that you will be back - stronger, brighter and better than before. There is a balance that needs to happen and when it does, it is magical. Just like Alice in Wonderland, time, the main theme, is fleeting. It comes and goes, and must be used to our advantage. Work hard...rest well...and prosper. Enjoy!
The quote of the month is:
"We' ve all heard that we have to learn from our mistakes, but I think its important to learn from successes. If you learn only from your mistakes, you are inclined to learn only errors."
- Norman Vincent Peak
Hope you will enjoy this March Newsletter -

Catersource/Event Solutions took place in Las Vegas, from March 7-11.
Event professionals from all over went west to share knowledge, ideas, get
educated, find new products, and share in good times. The Spotlight Awards took
place at Vegas' new Mandarin Oriental Ballroom, followed by a see-and-be-seen
after party at Eve the Nightclub, also at the posh hotel. The fun kept going as
Anthology, held at Bally's combined creative decor, pristine execution of food and
a talented and tireless production team.

I returned back from a three day Event Planner's Summit were I got to meet with Melissa , Shawn, Jomylene , Michelle , Andrea and Nicole , among others . We were brought here by an amazing woman., Marley Majcher ( a coach I'm working with) to network, and learn more about our industry and business development.
The summit was very different from several I've attended , it was full of joy, laughter, dancing, and emotional moments. Where do I begin with The Party Goddess Uncensored Program? So
much to share! Let's begin with Marley Majcher , the party goddess herself. Her visions and purpose for this 3-day
conference was to create an open forum, a safe place for event planners to come
together and share experiences, learn new approaches and techniques for taking
our businesses to the next level, and to have fun while doing it. Well, it was a complete success! There was an amazing panel of speakers that graciously supported the spirit of giving : - Simon T. Bailey, author and inspirational speaker,
whose extraordinary nuggets of wisdom I feverishly tweeted (search
#TPGuncensored on twitter).
- Bridal gown designerCocoe Voci, proof that a woman can be as elegant as her
designs.
- Inaugural "Goddess of the Week" Merri Jill Finstrom, a woman who knows she can get
results by offering chocolate for participation!
- Mary Dann-McNamee, the most focused wedding planner
you'll ever meet!
- Gianna Provenzano, who displayed the same ease on stage
as she does with event production and making money in a down-turned
economy.
- Liz Dennery Sanders, the expert in landing celebrity
clientele!
- Kelly O'Neil, a woman of wit who spoke to us about
"woo-ing" the affluent and marketing to millionaires.
- Laura Roeder, Tara Wilson, Kathy Nenneker, and Ruth Moyte - contributing PR, social media wisdom, and
winning proposal techniques to a room full of tweeting listeners.
And can I really not mention the
energy that Shine
brought? The lighting, the music - how many business conferences do you attend
that have pumped music and dancing between sets? And, the
amazing team at The Party Goddess - who made this conference
seamless... The
Party Goddess UNCENSORED attracted fantastic
sponsors including:
- The Hotel Palomar in Westwood. Home to the
UNCENSORED event, the modern elegance of the property in all its swanky-coolness
still leaves plenty of room for warm hospitality and an attentive staff to add
elegance to the setting. Their Blvd 16 Lounge and Restaurantboasts an intimate
private dining room, perfect for rehearsal dinners!
- During the event's poolside
cocktail hour, attendees were introduced to some lavish treats by Manicures R Mobile, complete spa and beauty treatments that
come to you! Mani-pedis, spray tan, hair, makeup, and facials - you name it!!
This would be a fantastic service for brides to consider for their wedding:
treat yourself and your bridesmaids and let the services come to
you!
- Speaking of pretty, I was
delighted to see my friend, Gabriela, presenting to the attendees her vintage
inspired cosmetic line called Besame.
I've been a fan of this makeup for years and enjoyed sampling some new
products!
- Sweets and treats were abundant. And Cookie Dough Daddy made a killer hit with the goddesses.
OMG indeed, these cookies were ridiculously scrumptious (yes, I did swipe an
extra bag, thank you very much!)
-
Naturally,we brought in our Cake O Licious partner, with their cake pops . To offer sweet treats to each person we network with. It was a complete surprise for them and they loved it!

At
the end of February/beginning of March we planned a minimalist Miami wedding that was very intimate
with a modern look; the location created be the decor itself. The bride and
groom invited friends from all over the world-after all, a few days in
Miami for
friends and family is the perfect destination. The event spanned several days and incorporated a dinner at
Wish one night, a cocktail reception at their house around the pool another night,
and the marriage ceremony and reception at the Spanish Monastery. Ancient,
beautiful, and full of character.
They
did a "trombinoscope", which is
French for photo board, with a page on each guest who attended the event, so
everybody was able to know in advance who was who and how they were connected
with bride and groom. It was really cool and also smart. They brought people
together from all over the world effortlessly, making it easy to guests to relax
and enjoy the wedding and each others company.
The
food was delicious thanks to our dear friend Thierry's Catering who created a
feast of Cakes
included a traditional American cake, as well as the famous European style,
"Piece Montee".
Thanks to our wonderful quartet, sweet tunes filled the
air throughout the ceremony and cocktail reception. Later, people danced to the
sounds of DJ ZOZON, whose style includes many international music
touches.
Orchids were the bride's flowers of choice: in the
trees, around the bride & the groom, and then set-up in modern compositions
mixing gels, candles, and the flowers in multi-level
vases. Thanks to Laurent and his team for the wonderful
pictures and video that were done during the wedding. Finally, guests left with
a magnet with shades of Italy, the country visited by bride
and groom. When all was said and done, the VIBE agency delivered an
experience that melded America and Europe, domestic and International, but most of all
captured beauty and love.

One
of the most playful holidays, Easter is so much fun for kids and adults alike.
There is no greater joy than hunting for Easter eggs, creating Easter baskets,
coloring eggs, indulging in the candy so many wonderful cost-effective
activities and decorations to be done. Interested in creating an event that will
warm the hearts of friends and family? How about a party that will bring the
Easter bunny to life? Whether it is just your family, your friends, or the whole
neighborhood, turn to the VIBE agency for great tips, or to create the event.
Easter is less than a week away! Are you ready?
Home Guru, Martha Stewart, creates lovely Floral Arrangements in Eggshells to
adorn table tops, place on mantels or simply brighten the home. He says,
"Hollowed-out eggshells make naturally beautiful vases for tiny flower
arrangements. Break an egg at the top of its shell, drain the contents, and
carefully rinse out the inside. Next, fill the empty shell with room-temperature
water and place it in an eggcup for stability. Finally, insert small cuttings of
your favorite blossoms (we used lilacs, lily of the valley, and violas).
Individually or grouped together in a centerpiece, these tiny arrangements make
a wonderful addition to the place settings at your
table." Create a Magic Garden Using pots of pretty flowers (we love tulips, Gerbera
daisies, sunflowers, and other colorful happy flowers), dedicate an area of the
house or yard and set out pots of flowers. Fill in with large amounts of Easter
egg basket fill or thinly cut up construction paper and crinkle it up so it
looks more festive and textural. You can use this garden to hide Easter eggs,
chocolate, for décor and more. Make Your Own Chocolate Eggs Melt your
chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave. If using a microwave, melt for
one minute on half power and stir. Step 2: Fill an egg mold with the melted
chocolate. You can use the plastic eggs available during the Easter
season, gelatin molds or deviled egg holders too. Don't over-fill the mold.
Allow the chocolate Easter eggs to set thoroughly. Step 3: Separate your
egg-halves from the mold and paint each one with melted chocolate. Hold the two
sides together and allow to set in the refrigerator. Step 4: Remove the eggs
from the refrigerator and decorate. Pipe the chocolate Easter eggs with frosting
or add any cake or candy decorations that please you. Be gentle with the eggs as
they are fragile. Piping frosting over the seam will help strengthen the
chocolate Easter egg.
