Emergency Notification
This system is used to send out e-mails and text messages in event of an emergency or campus closure.  Sign up your e-mail account or cell phone by going to WebAdvisor and clicking "Emergency Notification Sign Up/Login".  The service is valid for 2 years and after the expiration date, you can renew the account.
More Take Charge Workshops Offered
Walsh College received additional funding from the Ford Motor Company Fund to continue Take Charge educational programs.  Michigan workers in transition can take advantage of these free skill-building workshops.  Project Management Fundamentals and additional workshops are now posted.  Details
Troy Construction:  Wattles Road and Rochester Road Projects
Wattles Road between Livernois and Rochester will be under construction until November 2010.  Details

Now-August 25, Wattles Road is closed to through traffic at Rochester Road; local traffic east and west of Rochester Road is maintained on Wattles. (Wattles Road traffic is not allowed through the Rochester intersection and Rochester Road traffic is not allowed to turn on to Wattles Road.)
Fall On Campus Recruiting
Novi and Troy campus interviews in October and November are available to Walsh College graduates and candidates for graduation.  Career Services facilitates employment interviews with various companies and firms. 

Preparation assistance meetings with Career Services should be scheduled in July and August.  All positions are listed in eRecruiting.  If you are interested in public accounting, please plan to participate in fall campus recruiting before graduating.

Participants will learn the processes and tools of business project management based on the Project Management Institute's Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) as instructed by Joan Kelly.  She is currently under contract with Right Management, assisting displaced workers with job search strategies.  Kelly holds both a Master of Public Administration and Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education degrees from University of Michigan.  She is a skilled instructor and facilitator in project management, root cause analysis, process improvement, change management, and leadership development.
