Spring has sprung - well, in many places, as some of us are still awaiting the REAL spring - and there is newness in the air. Let me update you on what's going on here at Chaverware.
Chaverware, version 5.5
We currently have a group of customers using and testing version 5.5 while we continue to put it through our quality control tests here. We expect that by end of week we will be ready for a full release. Some of the enhancements in Chaverware 5.5 are:

- Added built in support for jobs/classes for all supported versions of QuickBooks and Peachtree versions.
- Integrated Constant Contact through "Send to" menu.
- Reports can now be filtered for inactive Yahrzeits.
- Report filter screen now stays open in between reports.
- Added group security capability to notes.
- Added default note security option setting.
ChaverWeb
We have been receiving a lot of good feedback by those using ChaverWeb. Through that feedback we continue to make minor enhancements to improve your member's experience while making ChaverWeb VERY powerful for you and saving significant data entry and time on your part.
By the end of this month, we expect to release an upgrade to ChaverWeb that will now include online Religious School registration.
Chaverware 6, cloud based version
Everyday I receive another email about the cloud and how more and more computing and data storage is happening in the cloud. As you know from our press release last month, we are deep into the development of our next version of Chaverware. This version will be a comprehensive browser-based package, with the application and data living in the "Cloud". In that press release, I promised a timeline for the Chaverware 6 release. Here it is:
Q1 2011 - Press release
Q2 2011 - Private beta release
Q3 2011 - Public beta release
Q4 2011 - Full release of product
We are very excited about this development and know that you will be thrilled with this new version.
Wishing you a Happy and Kosher Passover.
