Leadership
What is Leadership Giving?
For those who can give more, Leadership Giving is a way to role model for others. As Leadership donor, you demonstrate your belief that the health and welfare of residents in your local community are worthy of a significant personal investment. HE BEAT ME AGAIN

"One morning, I received a call from a woman.  Her voice was shaking - she sounded terrified!  In a broken voice she managed to tell me that her husband had beat her the night before.  This wasn't the first time this had happened and she was scared for her two little girls. She was ready to get out of her abusive relationship."

Catholic Charities, with United Way funding, was able to get girls moved into their own apartment and provided family counseling. "She occasionally visits us to let us know they are doing great; she has a full time job and is able to provide for her family."
-Isabel Garduno, Catholic Charities

Day of Caring Testimonial
On behalf of Family Service Association, I would like to thank the United Way for their Day of Caring in September at our Riverside County locations. I just had the opportunity to visit a Child Development Center of ours off Hemlock in Moreno Valley, and I have to tell you what a world of difference your volunteers have made! The Moreno Valley Lowes store donated supplies to paint 50 cubby cases for the children's belongings. Now the parents and staff feel like someone actually cared about their children, and took time out of their day to help make their center look beautiful. Please know that your contributions not only enhanced the appearance of the center, but also built confidence in the children and staff of FSA.

Family Service Association thanks the United Way of the Inland Valleys for their continued community support of Family Service Association of Western Riverside County. We hope that next year we will again be able to participate in this activity, as it is such a Community bonding event.
