Shakespeare once wrote "the better part of valor is discretion." Another famous wordsmith; Kenny Rogers, sang: "You gotta know when to hold'em and when to fold'em." And the writing is on the wall, our campaign celebration is no match for the Beach Volleyball* teams coming to Riverside the weekend of April 18th.

Therefore, we are moving the date of the LIVE UNITED CELEBRATION to
Saturday June 6, 2009 at the same location.
The folks at the Convention Center, as host venue for both events, have committed to helping our event be as grand as it can be. In the words of the Convention Center General Manager Sharon Sola-Ahluwalia, "United Way is important to our local community. We are committed to this event and plan to make it one of the biggest events of the year."
If you already have tickets, they will be good for the new date. If you decide this is not a good date change for you, please contact us to request a refund. If the date is a conflict, you may want to send someone from your company or a fellow community leader whom you think should have some exposure to our United Way.
