A Photogenic Listing That Is Sure To Shine

Curb appeal that shines can make buyers fall in love with a home the moment they approach the driveway.  But what about those buyers shopping online from afar or even near for that matter?  Did you know that over 85% of buyers are shopping online before even consulting a Realtor to see houses in person?

It is vital that your listings curb appeal is quickly noticeable in the online photos.  Here are few simple, no cost ideas to gain curb appeal in your listing photos:

1.  Remove window screens and storm windows.  It's important to remember that little things often don't show up well in general photos of an exterior.  While updated fixtures are important they will most likely not be quickly noticed in a first online viewing.  Try removing window screens to to brighten up the exterior and drastically improve your photos.  It will also brighten up the interior and allow for better window views.  Don't believe us?  Try it out for yourselves!  You and your sellers will be glad you did!

2.  Show off front entrance.  Really take the time to snap photos from a creative vantage point to showcase the exterior of the home.  Please don't just stand in the street and capture a ho-hum photo like everyone else.  You and your listings want to stand out, right?

3.  Water everything.  Prior to taking your exterior photos water the mulch and grass for a fresh, vibrant shot.  Mulch should be of the dark brown or black variety and NEVER red mulch.  The dark colors will make green grass and flowers pop against the backdrop.
