"There's blind luck, dumb luck and then there's get up every morning at 5:30 and sweat the details luck.
Few people actually stumble into wealth. It takes persistence, tenacity and a tireless work ethic. In the end, luck has little to do with success. It takes experience and hard work. Pure and simple."

| Prep Your Home For Sale of For Life |
|
Welcoming Entrance to a home currently on the market in State College...Ask me where!
 | Create an open-house invitation for possible buyers, friends or family. But you don't need a for-sale sign to take action. Open the door to a better home life with the following tips:
- Welcome mat: Stand in your doorway and pretend to be a stranger. Are you greeted by piles of paper, shoes or clothing? Take a home tour with your camera, and use the viewfinder to target future projects. Your home portrait may surprise you.
Home-staging: Professional home-stagers prepare a home for the real estate market by de-cluttering and re-packaging a house for potential buyers. Begin the process by looking for corners of clutter, dust and disorder. Write down small changes -- fresh paint or new knobs -- that could make a big difference. Make repairs that will improve the quality of your home life.
Family room: Review the main function of each room, and determine if the room fulfills its purpose. Is your living room livable? Is the kitchen a recipe for warmth? Does your family room offer space for fun? The family room, for example, should provide a realistic setting for family activities. Board games, music, books and other hobbies should be accessible, but clutter-free. Organization and thoughtful planning can make your space more livable and marketable.
Closets: Walk into your closets with an open mind. Study your use of space. Try to match the space with your storage priorities.
Pretend to be a real estate agent as you tour your home. Make the rooms more appealing. Use organization to increase the value of your home--for buyers or your family.
If you have a seller looking to update their current home for future sale or getting ready to put their home on the market soon, please contact Room to Breathe Home Staging to ensure they get started on the right path. Too often do we see sellers go the wrong way, only to end up redoing things and paying more than necessary. It's also never too early to start thinking and planning for future sale. We also see sellers wait too long before preparing for sale and this is incredibly overwhelming for them. Don't delay! |
