| Greetings!
This month's e-newsletter is coming from the living room of my Filippino host family. Yes, you read correctly; I'm participating in a work study program in the Philippines for the month of March.
No worries though, Room to Breathe is still open for your spring staging needs. Gretchen Roth, The Stage Coach, will be providing you with outstanding service. You may encounter a slight delay in response time, but I assure you it will be business as usual upon my return on April 1.
I look forward to working with you soon!
Sincerely,
Jessica

Shhhh, Staging Secrets |
|
While I'm gone, I thought I'd share a few of my secrets with you. Shhhh, these are secrets so don't tell! :)
1. Pay Attention to the Details. Despite how small something may seem, a buyer will notice. Pay attention to the details and do what you can to make them show their best.
2. Updated Decor. Use a few updated accessories to make the home feel updated and fresh. TJ Maxx, Pier 1, Ross are great place for inexpensive, but nice looking items.
3. Warm and Welcoming. What do the walls look like? Is the paint a sterile, cold white? Or maybe bright, bold colors? Neither option lends to a warm and inviting feeling for buyers. Paint is the quickest and most inexpensive fix.
4. Can the Collections. Sellers with large collections (figurines, nascar, animal trophies, sports memorbilia, etc) must pack this stuff up before listing the house.
5. Clear Counters. Kitchen and bathroom counters should be clear of everything except one or two updated decorative items. What would you like to read that we haven't written about yet? We would love to answer your questions or address your concerns.
Room to Breathe is much more than a staging service. We are a life improvement service.

"After sitting on the market for a month with no offers, I decided to call Room to Breathe to help create more space in a cozy ranch Shirley Hsi & I had listed. We had a lot of showings, but everyone thought the space was just too small for them to live in. I called Jessica one week before the first Open House. With a limited time-frame, Jessica worked with the seller and provided great suggestions on how to create an environment that would be more inviting for buyers. SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY, SIMPLIFY! The seller did as she was told and the Open House was a success. Two days later, we received THREE offers on the property! Thanks Jessica Dolan for your great advice. I highly recommend hiring Room to Breathe to stage your home for listing!" -Nina Chen, REALTOR Buyer Agent to Shirley Hsi RE/MAX Centre Realty | |
