I want to personally thank Jerry Wettstone, CCAR President for bringing staging to the public view on Sunday, September 7. His great article on Staging Secrets That Sell made the front page of the CDT Home Hunter section.
As I'm sure you know, sellers can be a little hesitant to catch on to the true benefits of proper staging. I totally and completely understand not wanting to put money into a house you're leaving. I'm actually preparing my own home for a potential sale within the next year (yes, I'm starting now...the more time, the better the result) and I feel the same way.
However, I also realize that without spending much, I can add huge visual appeal to my house. A pinch of paint here, a dash of landscaping there, throw in a couple of updated decorations and you have a recipe for a great sale!
The more the public knows about staging and it's benefits...the more successful we will all be...more house sales for you, more money in your sellers pockets and more business for RTB. It's a win-win all around!
