Can you imagine getting an offer from just photos alone? Do you believe it's possible?
Great pictures of both home interiors and exteriors are so very important in this age of online home shopping. If you've been reading and applying the tips and suggestions the last several months then it's time to up the ante again! Add to your repertoire taking picture perfect photos.
Here are some pointers that will help you take photos that sell:
- LIGHTS, Camera, Action. Turn on every light and open blinds and curtains. Natural light adds warmth that emotionally draws in a buyer.
- No Flash! Take photos with flash, but always get a couple without for comparison.
- Snazzy Snapping. Snap away! Take lots of photos from different spots in the room. Don't be afraid to try new angles, heights...get creative!
- It's in the Details. Take note of a rooms' details prior to taking the shot. Focus on the areas that will create an emotional connection for prospective buyers.
- Sunrise, Sunset. Can you name the movie that's from? Free service for you if you do! Ok, for real though taking photos shortly after sunrise or before sunset will offer the most flattering light.
We're going to give you so much free information you're not going to know what to do with it all!
Is there anything specific you would like to see addressed in an upcoming Get Realtors Only e-newsletter? Please don't hesitate to let us know how we can help you quickly sell more homes!

| Helping You Help Your Clients
"They say a picture is worth a thousand words; please take the time to compose great photographs. And yes, I mean photographs plural.
When buyers are looking at homes online they want to see lots of pictures. You should always have several pictures of each home. For instance, you definitely want to make sure you get the following:
- Multiple shots of the front and back.
- Multiple views of the kitchen, family room, master bedroom and bath
- Photograph unique features like the view, a pool, hot tub, fire place, etc.
My advice, as a professional, is to take lots of focused, well lit pictures that really show the potential buyer all the home has to offer. The time you spend on pictures will be invaluable to your clients and will not only lead to more interest, but also more sales!
Below are two good and two bad examples of photographs that will grab attention or turn away potential buyers. In the first one, the photographer didn't even get out of the car and the view of the home is obstructed. The second is an example of how a room can look incredibly beautiful or horrible just by the way it's photographed."
