- Bigger is better. Make rooms feel bigger by rearranging furniture, pulling it away from walls and even removing excess pieces.
- My place or yours? Remove personal items and knick knacks from rooms. Allow your prospective buyer to envision their belongings in this home.
- So fresh and so new. Add new hardware to tired looking doors, cabinets and drawers.
- Cheap fix! Repaint areas that appear outdated or are marked up.
- Light up my life. Make sure all spaces are well lit, letting the natural light shine in! Poor lighting can make a room look drab.
- Magnificent views. Make sure all window views are clear and not blocked.
- Storage? Remove unnecessary closet items to make closets roomy and functional.
- Safety first. Replace anything broken, worn or unsafe.
- Chore time. Make sure to do a top to bottom cleaning. Everything should sparkle!
- Mmmmm! Simmer cinnamon sticks and cloves or bake cinnamon rolls (pop open cans are great!) prior to an open house or showing. This provides a warm and inviting feeling to the home.
