ISAC's Microfinance Program

Learn about a business model designed to alleviate poverty!

What is Microfinance?

The banking revolution that is transforming the lives of impoverished millions around the world.

Hear it from the Experts:

"If financial resources can be made available to the poor people on terms and conditions that are appropriate and reasonable, these millions of small people with their millions of small pursuits can add up to create the biggest development wonder."
- Professor Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Prize Winner & Founder of Grameen Bank

What do our Participants say:

"...The internship has been an eye-opening and truly wonderful experience. There is much to learn from walking the many slums of Mumbai. Though the slums are crazy with so many flies and open drainage, narrow slippery alleys, cute half-naked children running around everywhere, and a high density of people climbing near 80 degrees stairs to their upstairs living quarters, my favorite part of work each day is the 3 hours we go to visit our clients in the slums..."
- Yuko, ISAC, Microfinance Intern
