The enclosure is constructed of sanitary components approved for use in the Food and Dairy Industry with a choice of a kel-f or sapphire window. It comes with a stainless steel air purge diffuser which can easily be removed for cleaning purposes.

The MCT-330-SS, being wash and spray proof, can undergo the same cleaning routine as non-electrical plant equipment. Due to the large internal volume, the gauge will operate reliably at temperatures of up to 65°C, without the inconvenience and cost of additional air cooling.
