 The Granada
C.E.S. 2010 at The Venetian
Room 30-319

Robert Harley, Editor, The Absolute Sound:

"I'm always heartened to see individuals pushing the envelope and trying new things.  A good example is the Granada Loudspeaker from The Lotus Group that combines a super-exotic (and super-expensive) Feastrex field-coil driver in an open baffle with a DSP crossover.  The design was radically different, but so was the sound--completely natural, relaxed, and "un-hi-fi-like." I could have sat and listened to this system for hours.  We're thankful for individuals who pursue their dreams and build (and demonstrate) new technologies and approaches--they are  the ones who keep alive high-end audio's core values and breathe new life into the field." -
The Absolute Sound, Issue 199 January 2010, Page 12

"...this speaker was so good it earned one of my little asterisks
as a "Best of Show" contender (and I only gave out a handful of these)."
Jonathan Valin, The Absolute Sound - AVguide.com, October, 2009.

"Best Sound - The room of The Lotus Group, featuring the new Granada
loudspeaker, bewitched me with its complete sense of ease and "un-hi-fi" sound."
Robert Harley, Editor, The Absolute Sound - AVguide.com, October, 2009

"...the Lotus room literally had grown men crying..."

Life always...

...gives us more than we can handle, and then some.  My father was hospitalized at the end of October, and passed away a couple of weeks later.  He was 95 1/2 years old exactly. He had a great run, was loved by many and died peacefully.  You can't ask for more than that. The combination of pain and peace I feel is a new companion that follows me everywhere.

I was just getting back into the swing of things after RMAF when all this happened and pulled me far outside of my plans, which included furthering the development of our loudspeaker and getting ready for CES. We have managed nevertheless to move things forward and have pulled things together for the show.

The Granada at RMAF

As you can see from the quotes above, the Granada Loudspeaker was well received. I knew from the moment we first fired up a stereo pair that we were on to something singular, new and wonderful.  As we continued to work with it after the show we were able to realize a new level of performance. I am grateful to all who have given us such encouragement on this undertaking. Please come hear the Granada at room 30-319 of the Venetian at CES 2010.
