We are your one-stop shop for cables and tweaks," proclaimed Joseph Cohen of The Lotus Group, while leading me through two rooms filled products. Even the new products took up two pages of notes. Through it all, I remained extremely jealous of legendary mastering engineer Steve Hoffman, who had settled onto a couch in front of the fabulous Feastrex $55,000/pair speakers (rm 30-125), and was blissfully tapping his foot to the extremely realistic, full-range sound of a jazz combo playing back on a A Feastrex modified EMT studio type CD player with outboard line transformer. Not to say that the tweaks weren't fascinating. But after two days of exploring cables and tweaks while music ranging from the sublime (as in this room) to the godawful was blaring in the background, I was longing to join Steve in grooving with the music."  Jason Serinus,  Stereophile Show Blog  Stereophile Show Blog

Dear

JoePhoto
Welcoming 2009
Attendance at CES may have been down, but we had a steady stream of attendees marveling at the sound being created by Feastrex full range drivers in both Feastrex cabinets and Maxxhorn enclosures supported by a wide range of the products we distribute.

Acoustic Revive continues to rack up award after award.  The latest being the best of 2008 from both 6moons.com and StereoTimes.com. Among their latest offerings are the non-solder balanced and RCA connectors shown below along with their latest generation balanced cables.

Oyaide showed their latest AR910 Twin-ax 5n pure silver IC and digital IC with their flagship Focus 1 connectors.

Also new from Oyaide is a 20amp version of their reference F1 IEC connector. Cable manufacturers take note.

We were fortunate to be able to meet Mr. Ryuichi Ikada, designer of the fabulous Audio Replas line of products.

We owe a singular debt of gratitude to Mr. Haruhiko Teramoto, designer of the incomparable Feastrex loudspeaker drivers who continues to reveal to us the potential that exists in reproduced sound,

and to Mr. Satoru Murayama and Mr. Hayato Ishiguro of Oyaide for their invaluable support and assistance and to Aki Monobe of Acoustic Revive for his help in our rooms.  We appreciate the great distances travelled and effort involved.  Thanks to Neil Levy our Southern California rep for his tireless assistance and to Mike Luckow for his translation and calm presence.  Finally, Bob Spence of Maxxhorn who is a pleasure to work with and a smooth and steady guy to have in your room.

Hi Fi is a community effort.  For us to enjoy beautiful music we should thank eveyone involved, from the laborers who harvest the mulberry bark and the farmers that grow the buckwheat that eventually gets made into the ash that is critical in making washi paper cones, to the machinist who polishes the contacts on your AC plug, to the people that harvest the shells that go into the paint on your RR-77 and the silk farmers who provide us with the special silk used in the RWL-III Acoustic Panel, to the lumberjacks and woodworkers and miners and transportation workers, tool makers and glue makers, even the cardboard box makers.  Without all of these and many many more our enjoyment would not be possible.

What a wonderous web!

Wishing you all a Happy and Prosperous New Year.
