Hyepin Im, KCCD President, Honored with the Mil-Al "Wheat" Award
Christian Federation of Korean Women in U.S.A. recognized four honorees at their 23rd Annual Mil-Al "Wheat" Awards Ceremony. This prestigious award recognizes individuals who have dedicated their lives to serving the community much like the grain of wheat described in the Bible.
This year the Christian Federation recognized Hyepin Im, KCCD President and CEO, for her dedication and leadership in serving the Korean American community. It is noteworthy that this is the first time the Christian Federation recognized a 2nd generation Korean American with this lifetime achievement award.
Hyepin Im, KCCD President, stated "I am quite honored and humbled to receive this long standing award with such outstanding honorees who are veteran leaders and pioneers in our community. I would like to especially express my deep appreciation to the Christian Federation of Korean Women for their leadership and confidence in giving me this award."
