Happy Spring
I have a new piece to share with you. I am very excited about it. It came about during a recent monoprint workshop. I was doing a demonstration when the form began to take shape. I love following  where the art leads. It is like chasing down the clues of where the piece wants to go. It is a collaboration.
This is hard to do when I am teaching. But the image came through so clearly that it wasn't too hard. This doesn't happen all the time. I usually have to work harder to bring the image out. It felt like a huge gift. When this happens I am very grateful. Speaking of grateful I am very happy with Oregon Art Beat's feature of me working in the studio. The piece I was working on in the show,"The Bee Keeper", also came quickly. I feel lucky that they caught that on film.  If you missed it and would like to see it here is a link - Art Beat.

I have space available for the next two Art Camp Workshops. I would love to have one more person in each. May 7th, 8th, & 9th and June 2nd, 3rd, & 4th.

Have a wonderful Spring.

Mother Natura                monoprint mixed media 10 x 13

She listens intently to the cycles of the natural world. She holds the lotus of creation and leans into the tree of life. She sees with soul eyes and hears the pulse of life in the in-between places. Here is where the quiet hum of life is always present. For her, the hum is teeming with the amplified sound of life in all it's forms. She is fully engaged with the verdant communion and reunion with all life.
She is always present.
