Ages: 2.5 - 4.5 + Adult
8 Wednesdays 9:45 - 10:30am
Songs, poems, and rhymes will help to build memory, hand-eye coordination, and awareness of rhythm and repetition. We will explore these skills through singing, clapping, stomping, and using percussion instruments to make our own rhythm band!

Ages: 18 months - 3 years old + Adult
8 Fridays 9:00 - 9:55 am
The first part of each class will be focused on providing a variety of fun, imaginative and playful physical activities to help your child develop gross motor skills, balance, rhythm, coordination, and develop a sense of spatial awareness. The second portion of each class will introduce your child to a variety of artistic mediums and sensory based activities such as homemade play-dough and contact paper collage to inspire your child's sense of imagination and engage his/her curiosity!

Ages: 18 mo. - 3 years old + Adult
8 Fridays 11:15 - 12:00 pm
In this class we will paint... Our hands, our feet, with marbles, on large canvases, on a acrylic easels, , in activity tables, with our fingers, paintbrushes, noodles, corn cobs and more! Sound crazy? It will be! We will create a colorful playground where children can paint until their hearts desire! Come prepared to get messy in this hands-on painting experience!

Ages 4.5 - 12 years old
April 17 - 20, 2012 from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Each day, children will be given the opportunity to engage in a wide variety of visual arts projects and techniques ranging from crafts projects to painting, printmaking and sculpture. The Vacation Arts Program is a non-competitive environment that encourages each young artist to develop their interests, grow in their own personal style and work with others as they explore the world of art.

Ages 12 - 15 years old
8 Fridays 4:00 - 6:00 pm
During this session we will learn about public art including monuments, graffiti, outdoor sculptures and installation art, as well as artists who use the urban landscape as their inspiration. Through visits to local galleries, public art sites and artists' studios, we will find new ways to create art!
