There are different types of people.  Those who let life happen to them, those who persevere in life, and those who shape their life into what they want it to be.  Now before you resign yourself to being one of the former two, I want you to know that the difference between these types of people is all in the mind and you can shape these thought patterns to make your dreams a reality. 

Where to begin?  First and foremost is prayer.  Pray for a clear understanding of what your purpose in life is and ask God to align your actions with His will for your life.  Your hopes and dreams don't just spring from nowhere, but they have a definitive source, and that is from the Creator. 

Each and everyone of us has a purpose in life, find that purpose and your life's direction will suddenly become clear.  Notice I said clear, it doesn't mean it will become easy, but you will notice that you suddenly have so much more energy to pour into the pursuit of your goals. 

With each passing day, you must remind yourself that you're getting closer to your destination.  Keep note of the little victories and never accept failure as final.  A setback is simply another chance to try again.  Train your mind to go where you want it to go, instead of saying and thinking, "I want to be successful", you must replace that with, "I will be successful."

Speak faith words and it will manifest itself in your life.  I know these things and I can say these things because I am proof.  I have always had a desire to help people and throughout my life I naturally gravitated towards roles that enabled me to do so.  This was all well and good, and it was even spiritually rewarding, but I still felt that I was missing something.  That something was what led to the creation of The Black Scroll.
