Happy Monday!
Do you have a passion that grips your heart and won't
let you go? Or have you been robbed by dream
thieves such as fear and self-doubt? Do you filter your
dreams through the lens of other people's
expectations and opinions? What is really holding
you back from pursuing your dreams? It is time to
step out of your comfort zone and move
forward to pursuing your God given dream!
Over the years, I never understood why I was involved in so many different ministries at my church and in the community. Initially I thought it was because of my love to serve in the Kingdom. But in the fall of 2006, the real reason came to fruition. God had given my husband a vision 5 years ago. We are currently newlyweds and over the past year, he has shared with me this vision on a few occasions; but we never moved forward. There always seems to be distractions, which we know, was the enemy. Both of us have successful businesses that complimented one another and created a balance in our business relationship. The two of us have a combined total of 25 years experience in Marketing and Promotions, Business Management, Accounting, Public Relations and Project Planning. One day while I was in prayer about the direction and will of God for our lives, God showed me that it was time to move forward with the vision He had given my husband and to put everything else aside. In March of 2007, 'Anointed Pages Magazine' was birthed. God gave my husband this vision, as well as the name 'Anointed Pages,' a few years ago. His assignment was to make sure that our religious leadership is properly recognized for their ministries and the lives they are changing through the power of God. You don't hear enough about the positive attributes religious leadership is doing for our communities; whether they are large or small ministries. Every issues main feature will profile a religious leader and editorial segments will focus on Business, Marriage, Spiritual Healing, Fashion, Today's Youth, and much more. The articles shared in our publication are chosen wisely to make sure that we continually provide our readers with information that will heal, strengthen, inform and equip our readers from all walks of life. Our prayer is that every page will be anointed by God. Remember that "With God, all things are possible." We have to know who we are in God's eyes and then operate from that knowledge. Then and only then do we have the passion and the power to dream big and live those big dreams. Everything you have learned or experienced over the years up until this point has been necessary for what you are about to do. This purpose is the reason He gave you the combination of skills and qualities you have within you. He has given you exactly what you need in order to bring your dream to reality - to bring His vision to pass within you. In Esther 4:14 it says "Who knoweth whether thou art come to the Kingdom for such a time as this."
