Extended Holiday Parking Hours are Back!
November 24, 2011 through January 8, 2012 
The City of Mountain View is once again honoring our request to extend the parking hours for downtown patrons to shop and dine longer.  Park an additional hour at the public lots and garages on Castro Street between Evelyn and California.

The Chamber of Commerce Mountain View in partnership with the Santa Clara County Bay Area Green Business and the City of Mountain View, is proud to offer its members a green certification program, Green Business University (GBU). GBU is a 3-month program targeted to small and mid-sized businesses to assist them through a step by step process of the Bay Area Green Business Program Certification. Space is limited to 15 businesses and an application is required to determine eligibility. Official kick-off day is March 01, 2012.

CalChamber Releases List of New Employment Laws Affecting Businesses in 2012        

The California Chamber of Commerce released a list of new employment laws scheduled to take effect in 2012 or earlier that will have an impact on businesses in California. In addition to the new employment laws, an order by the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is also impacting businesses in California. By January 31, 2012, most private-sector employers must begin displaying an 11"x17" poster that provides information to their employees about unionizing and their right to strike.
