Leadership Mountain View: Education Day
Leadership Mountain View's February program day took place at the Mountain View/Los Altos High School District office. The program day theme, Education, encompassed all school levels from elementary through community college.

We are very grateful to David Joud for his outstanding leadership of the Ambassador Committee. As Chair of this group, David has played an integral role in guiding new members through their first year of membership while serving as the eyes and ears of the Chamber throughout the community. Having completed his term as Chair, David will continue with the Ambassador Committee as one of our volunteer leaders.

Avenidas
I had the opportunity to visit Avenidas Rose Kleiner Senior Day Health Center this week. It is a senior health care center for adults who might be less dependent than others, or shouldn't be left alone. As the vans arrived in the morning the staff came outside to greet each person as they stepped off the bus. Each person was escorted inside the front door and they all seemed genuinely happy to be there.
