Pull out the sun tan lotion one more time. The 38th Annual Art & Wine Festival is less than two weeks away, September 12 & 13. Nearly 200,000 people will stroll through downtown and visit 600 artists, listen and dance to live music, be a rock star at school of rock stage, play in the kid's park and, of course, eat delicious food, drink ice cold beverages and award winning wines. Having grown up in Mountain View, my family and I have always looked forward to the event as a way to enjoy the variety of arts and crafts, the food and to reconnect with old friends. I hope many of you will be able to attend. P.S. we still need volunteers. Please visit www.chambermv.org to sign up to volunteer. In September we will be kicking off a couple of new resources for members... read more |

"Tolerations" Take a Toll
What do desktop clutter, inadequate tools for the job, a too-chatty co-worker and a troublesome relationship with the boss have in common? Every time we tolerate something, we deplete the energy we could be using to grow our business or make desired changes or to simply experience joy. It's like living with a low-grade fever or pain that somehow ... more |
