Registration is now over 75% full for the inaugural Emerald City Quarter and Half Marathon at the Dublin Methodist Hospital in beautiful Dublin, Ohio.

This inaugural event is on a spectacular course that winds through the Glacier Ridge Metro Park. We are close to hitting our initial registration cap of 1,000 participants.

Do to the overwhelming demand in the Quarter Marathon, we have received approval from the City, our vendors and Matt the Miller's (our post race party host) to add another 200 registrations to the Quarter Marathon.

We are coming off an amazing weekend. I had the honor of sharing my Bull Run emcee duties with 9 year old twins Andrea and Alyson Hoffman, who are both living with cystic fybrosis. They are amazing girls and they kept me and 500 of our new closest friends laughing and smiling all morning. Thanks to the tremendous support of Merrill Lynch and all of you it looks like we have raised more than $75,000 for Nationwide Children's Hospital.

After Bull Run, we were guests of Rob Cooper, Rob Womeldorph and their team in the Patron Racing Tent at the Mid Ohio Sports Car course. We had a lot of fun and it is great to have the team at Southern Wine and Spirits partner with us on the M3S events.

The Ultimat Post Race Brunch VIP Party presented by Ultimat Vodka and Matt the Millers opens at 8am at Matt The Miller's Tavern ( a few hundred yards from the Finish Line.) Every participant receives a Free Bloody Mary or Ultimate Orange Crush and a better than half price deal on brunch . Check out this menu! The drink is included in your registration fee, the brunch which is normally $15 is only $6.55! (length of the quarter).

Due to size of the Arizona Distance Classic and the Capital City Half Marathon we are usually forced to limit our VIP parties to partners, upgrades and the media. We have a really unique opportunity with Emerald City in that Rob Hoersdig, the GM of MTM wanted to invite all of you back after the event, so we will all be VIPs on Sept 5th.

The Inaugural Oktoberfest Meiler Vier (Four Miler)was such a huge success that we have decided to do it again! Join us for a great four mile run or walk, followed by a post race party second to none.

The race will take place Friday night September 24th at 6pm around the tapping of the Keg Celebration at the Annual Oktoberfest Celebration. In addition to the now famous Finisher's Medal and Technical Shirt, every participant will receive a Schmidt's Sausage, a cold beer, and much more. "Willkommen!!!!"
