This past week, I had the opportunity to ride the quarter and half marathon courses. These are fantastic courses that tie in the Glacier Ridge Metro park and Honda Wetlands area. We have even included much of the Flying Feather Four Miler course.

I then met with Darrin Bright, our medical director to talk through plans for this Labor Day event. We will be ready, now all we need is you to make this inaugural event a true celebration of your active lifestyles.

The Quarter Marathon Course will be open for 2 hours and the half for 4 hours. We will have aid stations every mile, Ohio Health medical support led by Dr. Darrin Bright; our World famous pace and balloon team, course entertainment, a technical shirt, a post race party and a "GEM" of a finisher's medal, all produced M3S Style. We want to create the ultimate end of Summer event for you.

This is a great event with a great course. All proceeds will benefit Nationwide Children's Hospital in their effort to help build strong healthy kids. When the opportunity presented itself for me to be a part of this event I jumped on it. Nationwide Children's Hospital is a magical place and I want to do everything I can to celebrate their work.

The Inaugural Oktoberfest Meiler Vier (Four Miler)was such a huge success that we have decided to do it again! Join us for a great four mile run or walk, followed by a post race party second to none.

The race will take place Friday night September 24th at 6pm around the tapping of the Keg Celebration at the Annual Oktoberfest Celebration. In addition to the now famous Finisher's Medal and Technical Shirt, every participant will receive a Schmidt's Sausage, a cold beer, and much more. "Willkommen!!!!"
